This is a typical "lads' house" full of personality, humour, and activity. Each person you'll support has their own interests and routines, and you'll play a key role in helping them live life to the fullest.
* Two individuals attend a day service regularly
* One gentleman loves trains and enjoys exploring his interests
* Another is quite independent, needing support with day-to-day tasks like budgeting and finance
* All enjoy bowling, shopping, social clubs, and having a laugh with staff
Your Responsibilities
* Providing personal care with dignity and respect
* Supporting individuals with daily routines, activities, and outings
* Assisting with meal preparation and medication administration
* Managing behaviours of distress using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and PROACT-SCIPr training (provided)
* Building strong, trusting relationships with individuals and their families
Shift Patterns
We offer a variety of shifts to suit different lifestyles:
* Day Shifts: 9am - 3pm / 9am - 5pm
* Long Day with Sleep-In: 9am - 9am the following day (Includes Sleep-In)
* Evening Sleep-In: 5pm - 9am the following day
* Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm - 7am (paid sleep-in)
