What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a professional and experienced People and Culture Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative and ER support within the People & Culture team. You will act as a point of contact between the team and its customers, handling queries and requests efficiently. Additionally, you will support the team and broader business by providing guidance and support to employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing general administrative support, including processing contractual changes, e-filing, and general department administration.
* Monitoring and responding to HR inbox emails promptly or forwarding them to the appropriate team member.
* Managing the probationary process, liaising with managers, ensuring reviews are conducted, recorded, and scored, and making written confirmations to employees.
* Maintaining accurate records using TMS and electronic files.
* Producing daily and weekly KPIs and attending DRM 2 meetings as required.
* Supporting the Senior People and Culture Business Partner.
* Scheduling disciplinary, grievance, and appeal hearings.
* Preparing documentation and attending disciplinary hearings at lower to mid-levels.
* Managing absence records daily, prompting actions with line managers, and booking occupational health referrals.
* Supporting new and ongoing People & Culture projects.
* Upholding and championing the standards of the ETI base code within the team and wider business, reporting and resolving workplace issues where standards are not met.
Required Experience and Skills
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* CIPD Foundation level qualification or working towards it (desirable, not essential).
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with a minimum GCSE C level.
