What We Are Looking For Role: To process the ROI, Domestic and Pension payroll runs from beginning to end in accordance with current legislation, policies and processes, and timelines and provide specialist support to the Senior Payroll Specialist and Payroll Manager Responsiblities: Responsible for carrying out the payroll processing and production of standard reports and reconciliation of reports to ensure payroll accuracy Liaising with Finance for payroll funding requests Maintaining Maternity, Sickness and other Statutory absences for UK and ROI Calculation of PAYE, NI, PRSI, USC, Pensions and all other statutory/voluntary deductions Maintaining payments for Starters, leavers, benefits & allowances To liaise with all employees as required, to aid with all matters relating to PAYE taxation and when necessary assist employees in their contact with HMRC or ROS Skills & Abilities Proven payroll knowledge and an in-depth understanding of relevant HMRC legislation and Irish legislation Confident user of Excel, Word, Visio & Microsoft Outlook Excellent manual/numerical calculation skills Experience & knowledge in Payroll software such as Oracle and Remote Pay Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to work independently or as a member of a team Invested in promoting a customer care-based approach and operate with discretion The ability to be pro-active, flexible, and adaptable while problem solving when required Open minded with a positive attitude Ability to prioritize, manage time and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment Strong team player in an environment of professionals A minimum of 1 years' experience in Payroll CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate qualification or ongoing This Is For You Discount - Generous 50% staff discount so you can treat yourself & a bargain staff shop, all onsite RI Rewards - Reducing Islanders everyday expenses through discounts, benefits, financial advice, wellbeing solutions and more with Reward Gateway Island culture - We have a free onsite gym, subsidised restaurant & café & various social events throughout the year.
