Data Analyst (Power BI | SQL | Advanced Analytics)

OVERViEW
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a growing Data & Analytics practice, focused on delivering actionable insights and data-driven decision-making for clients.
This is a client-facing role working across the full analytics lifecycle from data exploration to storytelling and advanced analytics.
Who We’re Looking For
A commercially minded Data Analyst who can translate complex data into meaningful insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and insights
* Develop KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks
* Build dashboards and reports using Power BI
* Create semantic models using DAX and Power Query
* Perform advanced analytics (forecasting, A/B testing, regression)
* Work with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms
* Collaborate with engineers and architects on data solutions
* Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, business-focused way
* Ensure data governance and quality standards
Mandatory Requirements
* Strong experience in data analysis and insight generation
* Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, modelling)
* Experience with Python and/or R for analysis
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
* Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modelling
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Experience in consulting / professional services
* Exposure to AI-driven analytics or Copilot tools
* Experience in regulated industries
* Experience with additional BI tools (Qlik, Looker, etc.)

* Strong analytical thinking
* Excellent communication and storytelling ability
* Attention to detail and data accuracy
* Ability to translate business needs into data solutions
Role Type: Permanent & Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Location: Guildford
Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) or active SC
