To continue their expansion model there is a need to increase the already successful engineering team.
Position: Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Leeds
Package: Negotiable
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across production equipment.
* Fault-find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing permanent solutions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
* Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing across the team.
* Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety, quality, and environmental
* Building control panels
* Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to reduce downtime.
* Conduct regular inspections and proactive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
* Keep detailed records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (tablet-based, training provided).
* Manage critical spare parts and ensure effective inventory control.
* Issue and manage Permits to Work for contractors, ensuring compliance and safety.
* Support black building testing and respond to alarms via the Trend BMS.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and performance initiatives.
* Deliver weekly reports in line with contractual KPIs.
Requirements
* Qualifications preferred should be an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering with experience in a similar role.
* Must have strong electrical fault-finding experience, WITH 18TH Edition qualifications Familiarity with technical manuals, schematics and drawings.
