Introduction to EY Foundation

The EY Foundation is a charity established in 2014 to support young people from low‑income backgrounds. It works with employers, schools, and partners to deliver employability skills programmes, scalable digital interventions and systemic change. The Foundation operates across four hubs in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham, and follows a hybrid working model with office presence at least one day per week.

Your role as Programme Lead

You will report to a Regional Programme Manager and be responsible for delivering exceptional programmes to young people across our hubs. Your role will involve planning, managing, and evaluating programmes, as well as supporting corporate partners and volunteers. The position is a 12‑month contract aimed at increasing the number of young people participating in new delivery windows.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead all aspects of programme planning, management and delivery, including recruiting, onboarding and training of young people, employers and volunteers; coordinate logistics and administration.
* Develop and deliver programme curriculum and content.
* Manage stakeholder relationships with local schools, colleges, authorities, employers, corporate partners and EY stakeholders.
* Evaluate the impact of programmes using the Theory of Change and recommend improvements.
* Collect and analyse data and feedback from participants.
* Manage secondees or other team members where relevant.
* Represent the Foundation at internal and external events.

* Experience in a delivery‑focused organisation.
* Experience with professional services and corporate clients.
* Experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholder involvement.
* Experience managing teams, external partners and volunteers.


Recruitment process

The process includes a competency‑based interview, motivational interview, scenario‑based questions, followed by a presentation development stage.

* First stage interview: Competency‑Based Interview Questions, Motivational Interview Questions, Scenario‑Based Questions.
* Second stage interview: Presentation Development, Understanding of Our Organisation.
