Service advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Service Advisor to join a reputable franchised approved dealership in Pontypridd. Our client is committed to delivering exceptional service and is looking to expand their team by adding a dedicated Vehicle Service Advisor. Benefits: Basic salary of up to £29,750 per annum Uncapped monthly bonus potential of £200-£400, linked to performance Paid overtime at time and a half 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 years Full manufacturer-accredited training programme Staff discount scheme, family and friends benefits Company pension scheme Long-term career progression opportunities 45-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pmDuties of a Service Advisor: Greet customers and manage their vehicle service needs efficiently Liaise extensively with the workshop team to track work in progress Upsell additional products and services where appropriate Book vehicles into the service department and manage appointment schedules Keep customers informed of vehicle progress and provide exemplary customer service Assist in organising courtesy vehicles and liaising with customers regarding repairs and maintenance Maintain accurate records using DMS systems (preferably Pinewood Pinnacle) and Microsoft Office applications Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and organisational skillsRequirements: Experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive sector is preferred Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach UK driving licence with minimal points Knowledge of DMS systems; Pinewood Pinnacle experience is advantageous Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong organisational and communication skills Willingness to undertake training and develop within the role individuals with experience outside the motor trade but with relevant customer service backgrounds will be consideredThis opportunity offers a well-established dealership environment with strong earning potential and career development prospects.
