Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner to apply for the role of Team Leader of an Adult Community Mental Health Team in East Lancashire.
The team provides community mental health assessment, treatment, and support to a defined geographical area covering specifically the Hyndburn and Rossendale area.
We are seeking a registered professional with expert clinical knowledge and experience of working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
Candidates will have evidence of leadership skills and extensive professional development relevant to the post.

Main duties of the job
1. To provide clinical leadership and first line management for a community-based mental health team in a designated geographical locality within Lancashire Care Foundation Trust.
2. The post holder will work with senior clinicians and have responsibility for the delivery of a high-quality, high-performing team to a defined population.
3. To ensure that staff in the team have opportunities for continuing professional development to provide best practice and meet the requirements of registering bodies, and to drive improvements in standards of clinical practice and patient care in line with NHS modernization and Public Health agendas.
4. To provide direct clinical care to patients.
5. To work with senior clinicians to actively lead in the delivery of clinical governance, quality improvement, and performance management within an identified locality team.
