The Role
You will be responsible for handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion. This will include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and potentially some new build matters.
Day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

Managing all aspects of residential conveyancing files with minimal supervision.

Drafting contracts, reviewing title documents, and conducting all relevant due diligence.

Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth transactions.

Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including AML and SRA standards.
*
Maintaining accurate file management and achieving agreed timeframes.
*
Delivering exceptional client service and clear communication throughout each matter.
*
Supporting the wider conveyancing team, offering guidance to junior colleagues where appropriate.
About You
You will be an experienced and confident conveyancer who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing files efficiently from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have:

At least 2-3 years' experience in residential conveyancing (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive).

A thorough understanding of conveyancing processes and property law.
*
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*
A proactive, client-focused approach and the ability to work independently.

Familiarity with conveyancing case management systems and modern legal technology (desirable).

A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to the continued success of the team.
