Tradewind Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Halton to recruit an experienced SEND Administrator to join their team as soon as possible, with the role potentially running until July, with the potential for a permanent post for the right candidate.

The Role - SEND Administrator
As SEND Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's SEND provision and ensuring statutory processes are completed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing SEND administration and records
* Using SIMS to maintain accurate student data
* Updating and managing provision maps
* Preparing and submitting SEND referrals
* Supporting the administration of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
* Liaising with internal staff and external agencies
* Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and deadlines
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience as a SEND Administrator (or similar SEND support role)
* Strong working knowledge of SIMS
* Experience with provision mapping
* Proven experience submitting SEND referrals and EHCPs
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A professional, confidential, and child-centred approach
Experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
