About the role:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our network of clients in South Manchester. The schools are looking for people to provide general and SEN support across a range of classes.
Key responsibilities:
* Support the class teachers with daily teaching and learning activities
* Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups
* Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to planning and assessment under the guidance of the teacher
* Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or above) - essential
* Recent experience working in a primary school setting
* Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
* Ability to engage and motivate learners
* Committed, flexible and proactive with excellent communication skills
* A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
