Advanced Practitioner (ANP/ACP)
Posted 25 February 2026by Rhiane Hallam Medical has an exciting opportunity for Advanced Practitioners (ANP/ACP) to support a healthcare provider across Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
We have locum opportunities across a variety of urgent and primary care services, including Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs), GP Hubs, Out of Hours services, and Walk-In Centres.
We are seeking experienced, autonomous Advanced Practitioners who are confident delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across multiple service settings and can adapt to varying clinical environments.
This role involves the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and safe discharge of adults and paediatric patients presenting with a wide range of minor illnesses and minor injuries.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and safely discharge patients
* Manage a broad spectrum of urgent care presentations for both adults and children, including minor illness and minor injury
* Deliver safe, effective, and timely care in fast-paced, multi-service environments
* Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Requirements / Skills
* NMC or HCPC Registration (essential)
* Master’s degree in Advanced Practice or PGDip
* Level 7 Minor Injury and Minor Illness qualification
* Recognised Prescribing Qualification
* Evidence of ongoing Continued Professional Development (CPD)
* Proven experience working autonomously across urgent and/or primary care services
