Role details: As an EC & I Designer, you will take ownership and responsibility for the execution of all assigned work, to deliver fit for purpose, practical engineering design in line with specification, budget and programme. In this role, you will actively support and promote all company and Client site directives – HSEQ, best practice, innovations and continual improvement. You will foster and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and maintain up to date knowledge and competence to support the role and to align to client’s and industries’ requirements and directives. Key Responsibilities: * Produce new and update existing detailed EC&I design documentation; typically - loop diagrams, control panel schematics, field connection diagrams, I/O schedules, control circuits, failsafe circuits, LV power distribution & protection, single line diagrams, control panel GAs and layouts, instrument air distribution and control, instrument air system layouts, instrumentation hook-ups, functional testing procedures * Comply with both national and site standards * Carry out site surveys * Compile document work packs * Comply with company and site procedures; typically – Engineering design, project control, documentation control, procurement, verification * Support other activities; typically – estimating, commissioning, hand-over, procurement * Contribute to team(...
