As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be an integral part of a dynamic corporate law team, supporting clients in a wide range of business and commercial matters. Duties & Responsibilities
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for:
* Managing and assisting a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal advice to clients in collaboration with senior solicitors / lawyers.
* Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Attend court hearings and client meetings.
* Assist with due diligence, structuring of transactions, and preparing legal documentation for mergers, acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
* Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.
* Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand your caseload and the firm’s corporate practice.
* Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and regulations and ensure that all processes adhere to current best practices and standards.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to corporate transactions and client interactions.
* Conduct legal research and analysis.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
* Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director.
Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* A valid practicing certificate.
* Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
