We are recruiting for a Service Engineerto join our client’s experienced field service team, supporting customers in primarily in the Redditch area of the Birmingham area, with occasional travel further afield and overnight stays.
This is afield-based role ideal for an engineer with aprecision/mechanical backgroundwho thrives on working independently and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service on-site.
Hours of Work
40 Hours Per Week
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities of a Service Engineer
Represent the client at customer premises with professionalism and technical expertise.
Installmeasuring equipment across customer sites.
Service, calibrate, and repairhigh-accuracy systems.
Diagnose and resolvemechanical and electrical faults.
Key Requirements of a Service Engineer
HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
Full, valid UK driving license.
Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
Good IT literacy (MS Office, system tools, diagnostics software).
Desirable Attributes
Background inprecision/mechanical engineering.
Practical,hands-on experiencewith mechanical systems.
Experience infault-findingand using electrical test equipment.
Completion of atechnical apprenticeship, or a BTEC including electrical modules.
Strongtime managementand interpersonal skills.
Looking forlong-term career stabilityand consistency.
