As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site premises and machinery. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to drive efficiency and safety.Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Operate and maintain plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.Conduct daily maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operational and safe.Uphold high standards of housekeeping to promote a safe and organized work environment.Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety.Provide support to production teams, assisting with machinery setups and troubleshooting.Conduct fault finding and diagnostics to resolve electrical issues promptly.Adhere to planned preventive maintenance schedules and accurately record follow-up tasks.Uphold the integrity of the company through positive actions and attitude at all times.Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer: BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification. 18th Edition training is advantageous.Post-apprenticeship experience in food manufacturing or related industry preferred.Proven experience in a similar maintenance role is essential.Competency in electrical work, with a focus on safety.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail, commitment, and a sense of responsibility are essential.Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK.Our Client believes in fostering a supportive environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.
