Overview
Fram Search is working with a well-established financial services business that is looking to engage with a Reconciliations and Payments Analyst. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role within the operations function, focused on ensuring the accuracy of internal and external reconciliations, processing payments, and contributing to the wider governance framework through the production of management information. The role supports compliance with regulatory requirements relating to client assets and money, and involves daily reconciliations, monitoring for breaks and discrepancies, payments processing, and assisting internal oversight and external audit activity. There is a strong data and reporting element, with a requirement to produce MI and contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and processes. The position sits within a busy, collaborative operations team with regular interaction across internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
* Perform daily reconciliations and monitor for breaks and discrepancies.
* Process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
* Produce management information (MI) and support governance, internal oversight, and external audit activity.
* Escalate issues where necessary, respond to internal and external enquiries, and support service standards and compliance obligations.
* Contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and processes, with a data and reporting focus.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in reconciliations and payments within a regulated financial services environment.
* Familiarity with FCA CASS rules, particularly CASS 6 and 7, is highly advantageous.
* Experience working with payment platforms and general ledger systems.
* Methodical and organised approach, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Right to work in the UK.
