FRS are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing SME based between Erdington & Star City.
Suitable candidates will be experienced using Xero and either be an AAT studier OR hold relevant experience. You will be reporting into a Qualified Accountant & also working closely with the Managing Director – a really good chance to get stuck in at month-end & during audit for those looking to broaden their experience!
Duties Will Include:
Managing a variety of transactional finance duties including purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, credit control, supporting month-end tasks & supporting credit control
Prepare and issue purchase orders, sales invoices & account statements – ready to send out to customers
Manage VAT returns & ensure compliance with tax regulations
Conduct bank reconciliations, prepare cash flow & budget reports
Perform credit checks for new buyers and suppliers
