Noble Recruiting is currently recruiting a confident and experienced Export Customer Service Operator to join our friendly and proactive client in Basildon, Essex.

Your Responsibilities Include:
* Contact clients/missing shippers to secure more bookings when containers are low on volume.
* Communicate with overseas agents via email/OMS to ensure effective and up-to-date information for all routed bookings.
* Handle amendments to bookings efficiently – CBM, weight, number of pieces.
* Book haulage, considering any special agreements such as free pick-up.
* Resolve haulage issues, such as drivers not turning up.
Requirements:
* Confident and outgoing personality.
* Extensive experience in a customer service environment.
* Minimum 2 years of export freight forwarding experience.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Clear, concise, and logical communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to organise and multi-task effectively.
* Recent experience within a freight forwarding environment (within the last 6 months).
* Good time management skills.
* Owning a vehicle is desirable.
* UK resident with the right to work in the UK.
