Overview
Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, and supplies to the manufacturing floor. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fulfills process orders for manufacturing. May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Conducts cycle counts daily to ensure inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Picking, packing, and processing orders
* Staging and loading orders
* Inventory and order auditing, including cycle counts
* Operating powered and manual material handling equipment
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment inside
* Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas
* Ensuring all incoming deliveries match the company purchase order
* Receiving and putting away inventory
Required Qualifications
* Two years of warehouse experience required
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Fluency in English (reading and writing) due to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in order picking, shipping & receiving processes
* Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations
* Familiarity with pallet jack operation
* Experience with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, specifically SAP, is preferred
* Knowledge and experience with hazardous materials handling (limited, but not for training purposes)
