Responsibilities

* Be a subject matter expert on AWS, offering their platforms and processes.
* Serve as the extension of the IaaS sales team and the AWS SME within the Ingram Micro business unit.
* Combine channel sales expertise with IT industry knowledge and strong analytical and communication skills to develop new and existing channel and end-user relationships.
* Define the channel strategy in your region, identify and develop SMBs and strategic resellers, define joint GTM and business plans with them and execute against those plans.
* Collaborate with the AWS SME end-user team to identify opportunities to work on with channel partners.
* Have B2B or B2C sales experience within the IT Channel; be self-motivated and organized to manage partner relationships, pipeline and partner plans efficiently.


What we’re looking for

* Business development & account management experience within a relevant technology field, comfortable with self-generation of opportunities and also working with marketing
* Knowledge and a passion for technology products and services
* Ability to maintain and manage a pipeline of deals and opportunities
* Experience of working within a fast-paced environment while using initiatives and ideas to contribute to the growth of the cloud business unit
* Good presentation and communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences and drive mindshare of Ingram’s goals and objectives
* Demonstrates the ability to work in a structured, methodical way
* Extensive IT industry experience with a strong network within the IT Channel
* Flexible, able to respond to customer and vendor needs at short notice
* Works with integrity, passion and drive
* Ability to negotiate favourable terms
* Ability to conduct meetings and discussions professionally
