Job Summary

Duties
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
* Support chefs with cooking tasks, ensuring meals are prepared to high standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly and safely.
* Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
* Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal setup and service.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
* Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are essential.
* Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods are advantageous.
* Understanding of food safety standards and practices is necessary.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
