The ideal candidate will be confident teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across KS3 and KS4.
As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:
* Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) throughout KS3 and KS4.
* Planning, marking, and assessment required.
* Comply with the school behaviour policy.
* Report pupil progress against targets/action plans.
* Build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
* Exhibit excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
Required skills and experience for the Science Teacher role:
* Specialist in Science.
* Confident teaching all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) up to GCSE.
* Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science - Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
* Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
* Previous school experience teaching Science.
