Overview

Do you enjoy working with children, young people, parents and carers from different backgrounds? Do you want to make children’s social care the best it can be? Are you committed to co-designing services so that they truly work for the people they are meant to support?

The Nottinghamshire Children and Families department is in an exciting time of development and is keen for children and families to help co-design services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Strengths-based Practice Team to lead on co-production and other engagement work across Nottinghamshire. You must be able to engage with children, young people, parents and carers who have experience of children’s social care involvement. You will need to capture and amplify their views and experiences and analyse them in a meaningful way so that they have influence. You will need to work on your own initiative and build relationships and connections, bringing groups of people together. We are looking for someone who has the right experience, skills and knowledge but most of all shares our strengths-based values.


Responsibilities / What you will do

* Lead on co-production and engagement work across Nottinghamshire as part of the Strengths-based Practice Team.
* Engage with children, young people, parents and carers who have experience of children’s social care involvement.
* Capture and amplify the views and experiences of these groups and analyse them in a meaningful way so that they influence service design and delivery.
* Build relationships and connections, and bring groups of people together to share perspectives.

Salary: £34,434 - £39,152 per annum
