An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Locally Employed Doctor to join the Paediatric Department at North Manchester General Hospital, which is part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
The post holder will be a part of the Paediatric & Neonates Tier 2 rota for North Manchester General Hospital (RMCH/MCS). The Tier 1 rota will be a 1:18 rota including long day, twilight, night and weekend on‑calls for both Paediatrics & Neonates. The post holder will work alongside Paediatric & Neonatal Consultant, Tier 1 Resident Doctors & SAS doctors as well as the Paediatric and Neonatal nursing colleagues.
The rota provides 24/7 cover for the Children's Ward, Observation & Assessment Unit (KOALA) and Local Neonatal Unit (LNU) as well as providing support to our Postnatal Unit and Paediatric Emergency Department.
