This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will work as part of a strong, supportive team to enrich the lives of people who use our services including adults with learning disabilities, complex health and mobility needs. We also support the wider community with varied projects and groups, as well as having our very own Café and Charity Shop. The safety of the individuals we support, and our staff is important. So, your role is essential to ensure our building, grounds, vehicle, and equipment are maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the upkeep of the Community Hub and surrounding grounds and undertake planned maintenance. Ensure the smooth operation and serviceability of services such as heating, lighting, and plumbing. Responsible for health and safety including water checks, fire safety checks and emergency drills ensuring records are maintained. Carry out repairs as directed by the Service Manager and as they arise, ensuring timely reporting of faults to ensure damage and costs are minimised. Maintain the Community Hub vehicle and be responsible for arranging vehicle servicing and MOT testing.
