This is a senior leadership role within the tax team, offering the chance to manage a significant portfolio of high-profile clients and play an integral part in shaping the future growth of the practice.
The Role
As Tax Senior Manager, you will:
Manage and oversee a varied portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, non-residents, trusts, and family offices.
Act as the lead point of contact for key clients, nurturing and developing long-term relationships.
Take ownership of complex compliance and advisory projects, with a particular focus on UK trust and estate matters.
Provide technical oversight, reviewing the work of managers, seniors, and trainees.
Manage workflow, budgets, and staffing requirements across assignments.
Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their career progression.
Contribute to business development, marketing initiatives, and practice growth.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management processes.
RequirementsAbout You
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious tax professional who can step confidently into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will be:
CTA qualified (or equivalent) with 8+ years’ experience in tax/accountancy practice.
Technically strong across personal tax and trusts (onshore and offshore).
Experienced in managing client portfolios and leading advisory projects.
A proven leader with excellent communication and influencing skills.
Commercially astute with the ability to spot and develop opportunities.
Organised, adaptable, and confident working under pressure.
A UK-based professional with the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
