Key duties of a Tax Manager:
1. Manage and oversee a broad portfolio of tax clients, ensuring a first-class service.
2. Deliver accurate tax compliance work and support clients with technical queries and advisory needs.
3. Review and quality-check work produced by junior colleagues, providing support and coaching.
4. Build and maintain trusted client relationships while assisting with wider business initiatives.
5. Help drive improvements and contribute to the continued development of the tax function.
Qualifications for excelling as a Tax Manager:
6. Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA) or possessing equivalent relevant experience.
7. Strong technical grounding in personal tax, corporate tax, or both.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Proven track record of meeting deadlines and producing high-standard work.
10. Confident, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
