What you'll be doing
You'll sit within our Metering team and play a key role in managing our gas metering portfolio, working closely with Meter Asset Managers (MAMs), metering partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Managing meter and AMR installations, exchanges, removals, and asset updates
* Ensuring industry data flows are accurate, aligned, and processed on time
* Resolving metering and AMR data issues efficiently and thoroughly
* Managing meter reading rejections and data discrepancies
* Liaising with customers, metering agencies, suppliers, and internal teams
* Supporting AMR and smart meter rollout activity
* Ensuring meter readings are obtained and submitted within industry timeframes
* Producing regular and ad-hoc operational reports

What we're looking for
This role will suit someone who already has experience within energy operations or metering environments (supplier, MAM or MOP). A solid understanding of AMR, meter data, and industry processes is important for success in this role.
Due to the specialist nature of metering and industry data flows, prior exposure to the energy sector will help you succeed more quickly.
You'll likely bring:
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in getting things right
* Confidence communicating with internal and external stakeholders
* The ability to prioritise in a busy, deadline-driven environment
* Solid Excel and MS Office skills
* A proactive mindset — you spot problems and help fix them
