Your new company A global sustainability company is seeking a HR Solutions Architect with a hands-on technical background in building, integrating and improving HR systems - specifically in Reward Tooling Systems - to join the wider team. Your new role As the HR Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and effective HR technology solutions that align with organisational goals. This role bridges the gap between HR business needs and IT capabilities, ensuring that systems support performance management, payroll, compensation and benefits, JML and employee engagement strategies. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture Analyse HR business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design system architectures for HR platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and compliance requirements. Implementation & Integration Lead the integration of HR systems with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM). Oversee data migration, system upgrades, and implementation of new modules. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless deployment. Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with HR leaders, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements. Present architectural solutions in an accessible language to non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution lifecycle. Governance & Documentation Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR). Document architectural decisions, workflows, and technical guidelines. What you'll need to succeed Technical Expertise Deep knowledge of HRIS systems and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). Proven experience of at least 2 HRIS implementations, preferably with global organisations Experience with APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations. Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and performance optimisation. Soft Skills Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in agile and cross-functional environments. Education & Certification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Certifications such as: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect Workday or SAP SuccessFactors certifications Preferred Qualifications: Background in pre-sales engineering or consulting. Familiarity with industry-specific compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks What you'll get in return Flexible working options available.
