As a Community Staff Nurse, you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to patients in their own homes and across community settings, working closely and flexibly with the community nursing team. The role offers the chance to gain experience in a remote, rural community, with supervised induction, ongoing training and support. Your responsibilities include caring for patients, supporting the on‑call overnight rota with the local GP practice, and contributing to the multidisciplinary team. Support for relocation and accommodation will be considered.
Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred care to patients in their homes and community settings.
* Work closely with the community nursing team in a flexible manner.
* Participate in a supervised induction period and further training as required.
* Support the on‑call overnight rota and provide unscheduled care with the GP practice.
* Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications
* Band 5 registered nurse qualification.
* Knowledge of tissue viability, palliative care, and long‑term condition management.
* Understanding of multi‑disciplinary team contributions.
* Gaelic speaking skills welcomed.
* Willingness to undertake additional training as needed.
