Senior Accountant – Windsor | £45,000 - £55,000 + Study Support | Hybrid (3:2 split)

The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional service to a broad and interesting portfolio of SME clients. This is a well-rounded role offering both responsibility and variety, including:
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations
* Managing the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Supporting and mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
* Managing client queries and advising on accounting treatments, tax planning, and compliance
* Overseeing bookkeeping tasks and working across platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, and FreeAgent
* Collaborating with partners and managers on client development and business advisory projects
* Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and technical updates to maintain high standards of service
This is not a rigid or siloed role—you’ll be encouraged to get involved in all areas of the practice as your confidence and skills grow.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for practice accounting. You’ll ideally bring:
* A strong background in accountancy practice (3+ years)
* ACCA/ACA qualified, or finalist (qualified by experience also considered)
* Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax rules, and VAT
* Experience using cloud-based accounting systems
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Confident client-facing communication skills
* A team-player attitude—someone who thrives in a collaborative, fun, and high-performing environment
