Job Description
3. Manage the day-to-day financial transactions, including processing invoices and payments.
4. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements.
5. Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records regularly.
6. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organisational planning.
7. Maintain compliance with financial regulations and policies.
8. Support the finance team with audits and year-end processes.
9. Handle queries related to financial matters from stakeholders.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
11. A successful Finance Officer should have:A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.Experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector.Strong numerical and analytical skills to support financial decision-making.Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.A thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
