Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Job Overview of the Mechanical Assembler position:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, power tools, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This position will involve assembling and fabricating mechanical components according to specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
* Use hand tools and power tools to assemble mechanical components
* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
* Operate machinery for machining or fabricating parts as needed
* Check completed products for conformance to specifications.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field
* Experience with using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings is
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
