The Role This is a mobile, field-based role where you will work directly within the community, travelling daily to meet participants, employers and partner organisations across your region. Meetings will take place in a variety of settings including community venues, health environments and workplaces. Key responsibilities: Manage a caseload of individuals seeking employment support Build strong relationships to understand each person’s strengths, goals and barriers Develop tailored vocational profiles and realistic action plans Provide practical support with CV writing, job searching and interview preparation Deliver ongoing in-work support to help individuals sustain employment Engage with local employers to identify opportunities and promote inclusive hiring Support employers with workplace adjustments and retention strategies Collaborate with health services, local authorities and community partners Maintain accurate records and track outcomes effectively Your focus will be on helping people move into employment quickly, with the right support to ensure long-term success. Ideal Candidate You don’t need a clinical background, what matters is your ability to connect with people and drive positive outcomes. You will: Have experience supporting customers, clients or individuals in a caseload or target-driven environment Be a confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills Feel comfortable engaging employers and external partners Be highly organised and able to manage a varied workload Work independently while contributing to a supportive team Have solid IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Be passionate about helping people realise their potential Full training in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model will be provided.
