Full-Time Mathematics Teacher (Maternity Cover)

About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching across Mathematics and Food, as well as lead inspiring enrichment sessions for small groups of pupils. Our learners have a diverse range of emotional, social and educational needs, so we are seeking someone who is adaptable, empathetic and genuinely committed to helping every pupil succeed.

What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from teachers who:
4. Are skilled, engaging and reflective classroom practitioners.
5. Have experience teaching a range of subjects to secondary‑aged pupils, up to Level 2.
6. Hold a recognised teaching qualification (DTLLS/PGCE), ideally with QTS/QTLS status.
7. Are motivated to inspire vulnerable learners and close gaps in progress.

We have an active Wellbeing Committee that organises events, activities, and staff support initiatives—while also helping shape improvements to the working environment. We have also recently appointed a Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead dedicated to supporting both staff and pupils.
