Key Accounts Manager - South

Home based, ideally located in the Winchester – Southampton area

Industry Leading Salary (dependant on experience) + Commission + Company Car.

Full time, 5 days per week 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays

At Playdale Playgrounds we are a dynamic, international business currently exporting to more than 50 countries through a distributor network, who design, manufacture, and install fun, exciting, outdoor playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative, and educational outdoor play equipment that makes children smile all over the world.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Key Account Manager to join our team where building client relationships is a top priority for our continued growth. We are looking for someone with proven sales experience to lead and drive expansion into national markets. Key aspects of the role will be developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company, acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams, working alongside our established clients, promoting our products and identifying new opportunities. This position represents a fantastic opportunity to grow an international business developing a range of distributors depending on the territory requirements.

The key requirements are:

• Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customised solutions.

• Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's long-term goals.

• Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.

Likely to already be successful regional or national sales professional with a proven track record, ideally having a background in the Playground industry with a strong grasp of the market. Have a can-do attitude with an ability to find solutions that work both for the customer and the company alike.

Energetic, highly-motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success. A proven track record of success in growing the profitability and sales of an organisation. With the ability to view the bigger picture and build credible growth and product strategies to achieve desired vision and outcomes. Having commercial and numerate understanding of margins and P&L and able to work the cost requirements of product shipping and customer supply chains to best overall advantage.

Have the ability to travel across the South of the UK when required.
