Product Owner (SaaS) | 2-3 Days a week onsite | South Manchester
£50,000 - £65,000pa
We’re working with a growing SaaS business that’s building a workflow platform used by specialist, high-value industries to manage complex projects and collaboration.
They’re now looking for a hands-on Product Owner to join the team and play a key role in driving delivery and shaping the evolution of their core platform.
The Opportunity
This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, working alongside engineers, and owning delivery from backlog through to release.
You’ll join at a time where the product is well-established but undergoing significant evolution, including large-scale enhancements and modernisation initiatives.
Initially, the focus is heavily on delivery and execution — but there’s clear scope to grow into a more strategic Product role over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Owning and managing the product backlog across multiple workstreams
* Writing and refining high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
* Working closely with engineering to support day-to-day delivery
* Running and contributing to agile ceremonies (in a Kanban environment)
* Balancing priorities across product development, customer work, and support
* Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables
* Supporting continuous improvement across product and delivery processes
What They’re Looking For
* 2–3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role
* Strong Business Analyst-style skills (backlog management, ticket writing, refinement)
* Comfortable being hands-on and delivery-focused
* Experience working in Agile environments (Kanban preferred)
* SaaS or software product experience is highly desirable
* Someone who can hit the ground running and add value quickly
