Role: Senior Security Engineer (Artificial Intelligence)
Location: Manchester
Salary: up to £90,000 fixed + bonus and benefits
Looking to work on cutting-edge technology and utilise your security engineering expertise within a Generative-AI project focused environment?
What you'll need:
* Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash
* Hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure
* Solid knowledge of API development and API security
* Understanding of, or strong interest in, data science and AI/ML methods
* Strong grasp of risk, controls, and secure engineering practices
What you'll be doing:
* Design, build, and maintain security solutions protecting systems and data
* Provide subject matter expertise in security engineering patterns and platforms
* Implement secure protocols, algorithms, and software solutions
* Manage secrets securely across applications and environments
* Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities; support audits and incident response
* Evaluate and adopt emerging cryptographic and AI security technologies
* Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to align with business, regulatory, and security requirements
* Develop and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
