The Bay Studios at Coastland College is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable singing teacher to join our dynamic Performing Arts team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in vocal performance and vocal pedagogy, with experience in a range of contemporary and musical theatre styles. You will be confident delivering engaging sessions in solo and ensemble singing, vocal technique, performance preparation and audition skills, working with students on both the Foundation and Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Pearson).
We are looking for someone who can bring industry experience and vocal expertise into the classroom, helping students to develop their technical ability, performance confidence and artistic identity. You will contribute to the wider curriculum through rehearsals, live performances, assessments and collaborative projects across disciplines including acting, dance and production.
A passion for supporting young performers, excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities is essential. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support shows, showcases and external events.
Hours: This vacancy is for 7.4 hours per week.
