Angove Partners is partnering with a leading Insurance Broker in the London seeking a Business Development Associate to assist in their ambitious growth strategy.
What is the role?
As a member of the business development team, the Business Development Associate will handle a variety of work-streams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating interactions between the insurance brokerage firms and private equity firms and other potential clients.
What will you be doing?
* Act as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for private equity firms, establishing and nurturing strong partnerships.
* Develop a deep understanding of the private equity industry, including its dynamics, trends, and challenges related to insurance and employee benefits.
* Collaborate with private equity firms to understand their specific needs and requirements for insurance and employee benefits due diligence during M&A activities.
* Conduct strategic sales activities, including presentations, negotiations, and relationship-building efforts, to promote insurance brokerage services and secure new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters, brokers, and analysts, to ensure a seamless transition from due diligence to post-closing insurance brokerage services.
What do you need to apply to this role?
* 1-5 yrs Experience in Sales Industry, with demonstrated sales success.
* Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing.
* Strong negotiation skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Strong M&A understanding
