Overview
We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated and passionate Product Developer to join our in-house "Own Brand" Design Centre team at Footasylum. We are home to multiple brands across mens, womens, kids and accessories. This role provides an opportunity to work on Footasylum's "own brands" such as Zavetti Canada, Alessandro Zavetti and many more.

Responsibilities
* Oversee CP meetings to communicate with multiple factories to ensure the production process is on track.
* Ensure the team is working to a critical path to keep development on schedule and maintain ex-factory dates.
* Be responsible for full control of testing requirements and new manual guidelines and provide feedback to the team on what is needed.
* Look for ways to improve ways of working within the team and the department, and implement/maintain new procedures and working documents.
* Work directly with overseas suppliers and travel for production and development trips (may include evenings and weekends).
* Collaborate with the Product Development Manager to ensure the PD function runs smoothly.
* Mentor product developers to develop the team, leading and supporting Mid and Junior team members to foster continuous improvement.
* Lead product developers for development and ensure products meet safety standards and minimum testing requirements.
* Support Product Developers in working with Designers and Buyers to develop own-brand products fit for purpose.
* Oversee submissions from factories (lab dips, bulk fabric, prints) and provide comments on own-brand samples across all categories.
* Oversee organization of samples, archiving, submission files, and general QC functions; manage log of own-brand returns and bulk QC checks from Ekol and warehouse.
* Ensure day-to-day organization is maintained, with strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
