Role Overview
This role is for 3 days per week, working Wednesday – Friday, and reports into the Senior Service Manager.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the day‑to‑day theatre schedule, monitoring and managing utilisation and performance of theatres to agreed levels.
* Collect daily audit data, document it for further analysis as part of the theatre management process, ensuring focus on utilisation, productivity, and starting lists on time.
* Input and update Theatre Management System information accurately and in a timely manner, amending any changes to schedule or resources.
* Proactively monitor and manage utilisation and performance of theatres to achieve agreed utilisation and productivity levels.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Knowledge of theatre admissions, patient flow and experience working in multidisciplinary teams is desirable.
