Salary: Starting at £55,000+, depending on your skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in our contract activities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting all contract activities, including drafting and negotiating complex terms and conditions with customers to safeguard BAE Systems' interests.
* Overseeing all contract aspects of business winning.
* Ensuring contract activities align with BAE Systems Operational Framework and relevant commercial processes, including Request for Bid Approval.
* Delivering commercial interfaces with Procurement and ensuring the flow-down of commercial contract requirements.
* Supporting all Contract and Bid Status Reviews to clarify ongoing commercial contract activities.
* Acting as the contract interface with both domestic and international customers.
Your Skills and Experiences:
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as Law.
* Proven experience in commercial management within a major project or complex program environment.
* Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts with domestic and international customers.
* A strong understanding of bid management processes and experience in supporting business-winning activities.
* Knowledge of commercial governance frameworks and processes, including Request for Bid Approval.
* The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, Estimating, and Project Management.
