Description
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, analyse, and implement process optimisation opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality and safety across production and assembly operations.
Develop, validate, and deploy new manufacturing processes, procedures, and work methods to support operational performance.
Review, assess, and refine existing process control documentation (including SPCs and control plans) to ensure accuracy, robustness, and compliance.
Support the introduction of new products and processes through capability studies, viability assessments, and effective process integration.
Lead and manage change projects relating to production processes, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, and timeline.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver measurable operational gains.
Collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams to enhance equipment performance, uptime, and process reliability.
Support the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new or modified production lines and equipment.
Ensure all process changes are controlled, fully documented, risk‑assessed, and embedded to guarantee long‑term sustainability and standardisation.Profile
A successful Process Manufacturing Engineer should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in process improvement within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
