What You’ll Lead
* Define and deliver a bold technology strategy aligned with our priorities.
* Shape a secure, scalable, cloud-first technology landscape.
* Oversee platforms, applications and system optimisation.
* Embed digital, data and technology considerations into major programmes, including transformation initiatives.
* Act as chief technical adviser to senior leaders, directors and elected members.
* Bring innovation into everyday practice, promoting emerging technologies and continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, policy and best practice.
* Lead financial planning, supplier management and value for money service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven success in delivering organisation-wide technology strategies.
* Expertise in cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data governance and agile practice.
* Strong leadership capability with experience managing large budgets and complex programmes.
* Ability to co-design solutions with users and non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to operate confidently at all levels.
* A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation, service improvement and public value.
* Level 6 qualification in IT or equivalent senior experience required.
