We are looking for enthusiastic, confident candidates for an opportunity as an intern student recruitment and international projects assistant.

Join the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh as an Undergraduate Intern, where you will play a key role in supporting undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes portfolio refinement for the School of Biological Sciences. Working in close partnership with the Student Recruitment Team, the Director of Teaching and Faculty, the postholder will aid in informed decision making by generating and analysing market insight, promoting the School’s taught portfolio programmes and contributing to internationalisation initiatives.


The Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to develop resources, engage with staff, students and School’s international partners.

This internship is part of the Employ.ed on Campus programme which is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools. It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate-year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK. You cannot take part if you are a visiting student, or you have already taken part in the programme before.

Expected commencement date: 8 June 2026 (12-week internship).

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
