Overview
Working for an established, successful and respected manufacturing business operating predominantly within the Automotive industry supply chain. As an experienced Quality Engineer you will be required to lead all quality related process in support of customer and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer and Internal Concern resolution
* System, Process and Product Auditing
* Support NPI : APQP Quality requirements
* Support internal training in Quality related aspects
* Support both Customer and Supplier Audits
* Lead investigations using 8D methodology
* Generate and distribute associated Quality Reports to key stakeholders
* Drive quality improvements within manufacturing
Accountabilities
* Internal Audits to be completed to plan
* Closure of 8D report to required timings
* Ensure process adherence at all times
* Ensure quality data and reports are completed to the required timings
* Ensure associates are aware of the required Quality Standards
* Ensure associates are adequately trained to perform their duties
Technical Skill Requirements
* IATF16949 Internal Auditor as a minimum (Second Party desirable)
* First Tier Automotive supply experience (5 + years desirable)
* Core Tools (APQP : PPAP: FMEA :Control Plan)
* In depth knowledge and experience in using 8D methodology
* Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel : Word : Power Point)
* Experience in a Coatings manufacturing environment (desirable)
* Experience working with Automotive OEMs CSRs
