Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of plumbing systems and be able to manage complex installations and repairs. The Senior Plumber will ensure that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for various plumbing tasks.
* Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation and removal of plumbing fixtures and systems.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on site, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provide guidance and training to junior plumbers or apprentices as needed.
Skills
* Proficient in plumbing techniques with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
* Experience with welding, assembly, carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools.
* Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
* Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting tools and materials to job sites.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
