Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Manager to oversee and optimise our organisation's asset portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of assets, ensuring their optimal utilisation, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Duties
* Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
* Monitor and analyse asset performance using specialised tools such as Bloomberg to inform decision-making.
* Maintain comprehensive records of all assets, including acquisition, utilisation, maintenance, and disposal data.
* Manage relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient asset utilisation and compliance.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess asset condition and identify maintenance or replacement needs.
* Coordinate financial planning related to asset procurement, upgrades, or disposals to optimise resource allocation.
* Prepare detailed reports on asset status, lifecycle costs, and investment opportunities for senior management.
* Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and best practices in financial management and asset stewardship.
Requirements
* Proven experience in financial management within the financial services sector or related fields.
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across organisational levels.
* Proficiency in Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and strategic decision-making related to assets.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to asset management in the financial industry.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
